The Wrigley Building at 400 N Michigan Avenue was the chewing-gum magnate’s headquarters and the first major office building north of the river, opening in 1921 and effectively launching the Magnificent Mile. Its gleaming white terra-cotta cladding — six graded shades, brightest at the top — is floodlit at night, a deliberate landmark from the day it opened.

In the record it is Cook County parcel 17-10-137-003-0000 on the near North Side. See the full parcel record for its civic details.
