Chicago ward map — all 50 wards
Chicago is divided into 50 wards, each represented by one City Council alderperson. Search your address to see your ward and who represents it, or click any ward on the map. Just want the officeholder? Who is my alderman?
This map reflects the current ward boundaries adopted in the 2023 remap — not the older 2015 map still shown on many ward-office PDFs. Boundaries are shown as published by the City.
All 50 wards
The current alderperson for each ward, from the City’s Ward Offices roster (as of August 12, 2026). Open a ward for its boundary and details, or look up any address in it.
How to read this map
Each shaded area is one of the 50 wards; colors just distinguish neighbors and carry no ranking. Wards are redrawn after each census — this map is the 2023 version, which is why a ward rarely lines up with a Chicago community area (those are the 77 stable statistical neighborhoods). See the full representation map to stack your ward with your Illinois House, Senate, and U.S. congressional districts.
