The LeVeque Tower at 50 W Broad Street opened in 1927 as the American Insurance Union Citadel — at 555 feet, deliberately one foot taller than the Washington Monument, and briefly the tallest building between New York and the Mississippi. Its floodlit Art Deco crown is the signature of the downtown Columbus skyline, now mixing hotel, residential, and office use.
In the public record it is Franklin County parcel 010-327833, in a downtown district on the Scioto riverfront. Open the parcel record for its zoning and civic details.
