The City’s Zone In Phase 2 Public Review Draft proposes new zoning districts across about 41% of the city. This map shades each neighborhood by the share of its land proposed for a new district — and by family: mixed-use, office & institutional, or industrial. How to read this map
Each neighborhood is shaded by the share of its land area proposed for a new Phase 2 draft district — the darker the fill, the more of the neighborhood the City proposes to rezone. The family tabs split that share into mixed-use (EMX, IMX, NAC, CAC, RAC, RAC-O, UCT, UCR, UCR-R, UGN-1/2, DT), office & institutional (COI, ROI, CMP), and industrial (IU, IL, IH). A neighborhood with no proposed district reads 0%.
We weight by land area, not by counting districts, and apportion each draft polygon to the neighborhoods it overlaps by the area it contributes. The drawer shows the full family breakdown for each area.
